About Hannah
Hannah began working as a florist over 20 years ago, having always been a lover of colour, textures in nature and the creative arts. In 2003 she opened her florist shop in Claremont, Hannah Etherington Flowers, where she specialises in weddings, event styling and corporate floral arrangements. Hannah leads a team of highly skilled florists and is regarded as one of Perth’s most sought after floral designers.
Before pursuing her love of flowers Hannah completed a Diploma in Production Design (Set and Costume) at WAAPA. It was here she developed a keen passion for design which continues through her floral work today.
Career highlights include numerous installations for the “Art in Bloom” series at the Art Gallery of WA, Perth Fashion Week, Polo in the City and travelling to locations as varied as Noosa, Rottnest, Margaret River, and Broome to create flowers for many couples on their wedding day. Her work has been recognised in Broadsheet press, Hello May and Perth Bride magazines.
Hannah continues to seek new inspiration and knowledge within the industry, and has travelled to participate in floral masterclasses with internationally renowned florists such as Jane Packer (London) and at Ovando (New York).
She is currently a member of the Claremont Town Centre Advisory Committee, and takes a keen interest in her local community as well as being an advocate for small business.
